Here at Pedal Pushers Racing we’ve been fortunate enough to work with some really great sponsors for the last few years. Brands and services we really believe in and appreciate.
Pedal Pushers Cyclery is located at the corner Heritage Rd. and 6th Avenue in Golden, Colorado. Eric, and the great mechanics there can hook you up with all your riding needs. It is a fantastic local shop where they truly care about taking care of you. Awesome service and knowledgeable staff makes this shop one you’ll want to keep on coming back to. No corporate/big box impersonal feel here! They have a kick ass lineup of bikes to. If you’re in the market for a Scott, Moots, Ibis, Kona, Intense, Transition, Knolly, Felt, or Devinci they can hook you up. Just beware of the shop dogs Zoe and Chava. They won’t bite, but you may throw out your arm tossing the ball for Zoe… seriously, that dog is addicted to playing catch.
New for 2016 KIND snacks are a presenting sponsor for the team and we are super excited to have them. I remember years ago choking down “protein” bars on a cross-country climbing trip and thinking there were likely few things less edible. Then I found Kind Bar. Real nuts, real chocolate, and awesome flavors like sea salt caramel, and pecan maple… these are about as far from those “other” bars as you can get in tastiness. The company itself is devoted to major community development and grass-roots charity events as well. Its #kindawesome as they say. And as KIND sponsored team, this year we will be putting even a bigger emphasis on “Doing the KIND thing”, so stay tuned for more on that and stop on by the Pedal Pushers tent at the next race venue and get a Kind Bar handup, or stop by the shop and stock up for a long day in the saddle.
Cafe 13 is an awesome coffee shop located inside the historic Armory in Golden at the corner of Arapahoe and 13th. They serve excellent coffee, breakfast, lunch sandwiches and even beer!
Scott Bikes provide awesome race machines that rival any competition. The hard tail Scale and full-squish Spark come with either a 650B, or 29er and are perfect for Front Range Cross Country and Endurance races (or just fun trail rides). These bikes are some of the lightest in the industry and have been proven to be the fastest bikes out there. Not to mention they just look sexy. And we can’t forget about the awesome Genius, a classic Endro machine, or the gnarly Gambler and Voltage for some serious downhill. Come in the shop and check them out!
PPR’s 2015 cross-country and endurance racing kits are brought to you by Primal this year. Primal has been producing cycling apparel since 1992. They’ve been a great company to work with providing custom designs assistance. The kits these year will not only look sharp but will super comfortable especially for those long 9 hour races.
Our official coach, Lynda Wallenfels! Her training plans are top notch. Our own Team Manager, Nathan Collier, can attest that they will put you on the podium. Plus, Lynda is just a super awesome person, and great to work with! Give her training plans a try. You won’t be disappointed with the results, but may cry a little on the tough days.
